Job Description
You will be responsible for design, development and deployment of the server side of all the user facing features. You must have rock solid prior experience in developing scalable, secure systems, practice test driven development and be a champ in continuous delivery.
You will be required to design and develop APIs used by our web and android clients, do low level performance optimization and develop rich web features. We often pair program and are looking for full stack engineers who can move up and down the stack quickly. You will be working on all levels of code from database interaction and core business logic up through HTML/ CSS/ Javascript.
Requirements
- Extensive programming in Python / Django
- Good understanding of HTTP Protocols and RESTful APIs
- Familiar with common stack components: Django, Gunicorn + Nginx, MySQL, Ununtu, South, Fabric, Memcached etc
- AWS experience to build scalable load-balanced server architectures
- Quick to learn and have excellent conceptual, analytical and programming skills
- Open source contribution
