Role Summary/Purpose:	Highly motivated self-driven Enterprise Data Architect to lead multi-disciplinary project teams addressing key challenges for different GE businesses.
Essential Responsibilities:	We are currently seeking applications from experienced professionals in Enterprise Data Management involving various Database and Data Warehousing technologies to join and lead program teams. In particular, a leader in the effective design, architecture, development and tuning of enterprise wide data repositories that would support analytics algorithms, models and methods in the following areas: data mining and modeling, text mining, information retrieval, signal processing, image analysis and data stream computing. Possessing strong implementation and programming Skills is a must. Leading projects and coaching team members is a key responsibility.
Qualifications/Requirements:	We are looking for candidates with 5 plus years of experience and having an outstanding track record for project execution and demonstrated ability to learn and apply recent advances to solve real-world problems. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's/Masters/Ph.D degree, preferably in Computer Science/Information Systems from a reputed institution and an excellent academic record, with specialization in Database systems. Hands-on experience (at least 5 years) with projects involving Enterprise/Analytics database and data warehouse design and implementation. Hands-on experience in ETL, Query Optimization, OLAP design and implementation is strongly preferred. Should have exposure to architectures involving Big Data. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Open to learning/understanding new domains Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong Implementation and Management Skills in databases like Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata etc. (Expert level DBA skills) Proficiency in BI tools like Analytics, Cognos will be preferred Proficiency with database scripting, application interface, performance tuning
