Job Details Overview

Experience in automation testing using QTP (or similar tool) with good VB scripting skills
Strong understanding of test automation needs, framework design techniques
Hands on experience of developing automated test suites using QTP or similar tool
Excellent knowledge of Internet/Web technologies
Nice to have - Integration knowledge of Quality Center with QTP
Responsible for automation test suite development, execution and debugging
Writing automated test cases using QTP for new features added and enhancing exiting test suite
Developing automation test cases and creating test data based on manual test cases or new
features implemented
Running regression tests as part of on-going agile development
Documenting test results and preparing reports
Timely escalation of defects, risks, limitations and issues to stake holders.
Daily status reporting & Mentor Junior automation engineer
Good understanding of software development constructs
Address issues in performance, scalability and manageability in programming efforts
Effective Low level design, Code reviews and Project Documentation
Soft Skills: Good communication, analytical and presentation skills, problem solving skills and
learning attitude
