Job description
Experience: 4+yrs
Job Location: Bangalore
Performance Test Engineer (Experience 3-6 yrs with UNIX background)
Must have Knowledge on following:
• Implement an effective application performance testing strategy for large scale systems implementation on Java with oracle backend database
• Interpret performance test results, capable of performance tuning based on analysis
• Cope with different application technologies and architectures
• Use automated performance testing tools
• Test traditional local applications, web-based applications, and web services (SOAs)
• Recognize and resolves issues that are often overlooked in performance tests
• Good experience in Web service, database, functional and regression testing.
• Ability to create test plan, decide testing strategy and create test case.
• Possess “Test to break” attitude.
• Has the ability to test the application in an end user point of view.
• Possess strong desire to provide quality products and satisfy the clients.
• Has the ability to report test lead, project leader, project manager, and Indian and International clients.
Primary Responsibilities
• Create test plan, decide testing strategy and create test case.
• Test the application in manual and automation methods.
• Test the application in depth with various testing types
• From an end user point of view.
• Prepare test data and test suite for Automation selenium testing.
• Report the bugs to the developers.
• Report to test lead, project leader, project manager and client.
• Deploy build on oracle Application servers and validate application benchmarks.
• Ability to manage and provide UAT support.
